Exciting News for Co. Monaghan Social Enterprises: 2026 SICAP Social Enterprise Grant Now Open!
Monaghan Integrated Development is pleased to announce that the SICAP Social Enterprise Grant 2026 is now officially open for applications. This scheme is designed to help local social enterprises grow their traded income and create vital employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups within our community.
Grant Overview
The grant provides financial assistance to social enterprises at any stage of development—whether you are just starting out or looking to expand your impact.
- Maximum Grant: Up to €2,500 per social enterprise.
- Match Funding: A 20% match funding contribution is required from the grantee. At least half of this must be paid in cash.
- Eligibility: Primarily aimed at “microenterprises” employing fewer than 10 people, unless exceptional circumstances are presented.

- Email your completed application form to jantony@midl.ie along with all required supporting documents, such as your business plan, tax clearance access, and three supplier quotations.
