Mullyash Day Care Centre Committee are once again hosting a walk to celebrate Blaeberry Sunday, a long-standing tradition with roots in the ancient festival of Lúnasa, marking the start of harvest season.
On Sunday July 26th, walkers will set off from Mullyash School at noon and follow a scenic route to the historic megalithic cairn atop Mullyash mountain, before returning to the school for refreshments and a raffle.
Everyone welcome. Come and enjoy the outdoors, socialise, and celebrate local heritage.
Bring water, snacks and a light jacket, as weather is changeable on the mountain. Sturdy footwear essential as the ground is rough and uneven in places.
Sunday 26th July, 12:00pm Mullyash School (A75 W923)
