Sustainable use of Water Resources – LEADER funding call
 

The LEADER Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020 for County Monaghan is open and we are announcing details of the time-limited call for funding, for protection + sustainable use of water resources under the Rural Environment theme. If you are involved, interested or have passion for the environment and water protection specifically you are invited to attend the Monaghan LEADER – Sustainable use of Water Resources Time-Limited Call Event on:

Tuesday 2nd April at 7p.m with

Renowned Aquatic Biologist Ken Whelan at

Ballybay Wetlands Park, Ballybay, Co Monaghan

This FREE information event will include a talk and Q&A session with Ken who is an expert in the field.
 
It will give an overview of the types of project that may be eligible under this call, the rate of aid available, information on the Expression of Interest and the application processes. There will also be an opportunity to talk to development staff to discuss your project idea after the presentations. Funding up to a maximum rate of 75% is available for applicant groups.

Monaghan Local Action Group (LAG) is administering the LEADER RDP 2014-2020 in County Monaghan for the Department of Rural and Community Development and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The County Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is operating as the LAG for the County. Monaghan Integrated Development the Local Development Company for County Monaghan is the implementing partner and Monaghan County Council is the lead financial partner.
