In 2019, the LEADER programme supported 16 local people to qualify as Fáilte Ireland approved Regional Tour Guides. The guides are now active and available to provide guided tours in the county.
In 2021, MID accessed ORIS funding and worked with the tour guides to produce a series of videos to market tours of the recreational amenities, culture and heritage of County Monaghan. Check out the link below to see the tours available.
