Attention Castleblayney people everywhere


Small changes can make a big difference in community life. So we want your ideas for small changes that will make Castleblayney a better place for everyone.

We will showcase the ideas submitted in Castleblayney Shopping Centre between June 18th and June 22nd.

The community will vote for the top 10 ideas they would like to see put into action in the town.

MID will then support the individuals / groups behind these ideas with funding to help them develop their idea to implementation stage.

Drop your ideas in the designated drop boxes at:

  • The Enterprise Centre, Dublin Rd.
  • Iontas Centre, Conabury
  • Glencarn Shopping Centre, Main St
  • St. Maeldoid’s Church, Church St
  • Castleblayney First Presbyterian Church, Keady Rd.

DON’T FORGET — The Deadline for submissions is June 6th!!!

Ideas will be publicly displayed at an event in the shopping centre from 18th to the 22nd June.

The community will vote for the ideas they want to see happen in Castleblayney.

We will contact you if your idea is successful to see how we can support it to become a reality.

This support will include financial support to develop and refine the idea as necessary or to help implement it if possible.
