What is LEADER?
The 2023-2027 LEADER Programme has opened for County Monaghan. The LEADER Programme is an EU wide programme funded by the EU and Irish Government that can provide small rural businesses, communities and individuals from across County Monaghan with grant funding and guidance to develop their project ideas.
Monaghan Integrated Development has been involved in the delivery of the LEADER Programme for 30+ years, and a key feature of the LEADER programme is the dedicated staff that are available to help businesses and groups navigate the application process.

How To Apply
If you are interested in applying for LEADER funding, you can ring the office on 042 974 9500 and have a chat with one of our team about your project idea.
Alternatively, you can complete an Expression of Interest Form (EOI). This form is designed to let us know who you/your group/business is, and what your project idea is. It will be used to help us decide if your project could be eligible for funding under the LEADER programme.
If the Expression of Interest is deemed to be eligible in principle, you will be supported to submit a full LEADER application.
Alternatively, the EOI Form can be downloaded here, completed and returned either by email to LEADER@midl.ie or by post to Monaghan Integrated Development CLG, Unit 9 Drumillard Business Park, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan A75 HR59.
