What is Retrofit Ready?
Retrofit Ready is a community-led measure to improve energy efficiency in local homes and buildings. Staff provide training to local retrofit advocates working under existing LDC & SEC structures. The aim is to raise awareness of technical & commercial questions so homeowners can engage with retrofit contractors & SEAI grants from a position of knowledge.
A key component is the development of a training curriculum for retrofit advocates, with guidance on how to mobilise community as well as use technical & commercial expertise to scale up retrofit efforts.

Who is it for?
Retrofit Ready is for anyone who is interested in improving the energy efficiency of their homes, offices or community buildings.
Those who will find it of benefit include home owners, office owners, and community leaders.
Briefings and training will be delivered at community level in Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan but attendees may come from outside these target counties.
